Some answers...

Do PelicanPay OpenBanking Hub users need to use the PelicanPay OpenBanking API?

No, you have total flexibility and pan European reach with every PelicanPay API. PelicanPay supports most of the popular API formats you prefer. This can be a single PelicanPay API, or any other of your choice, including popular APIs like the UK’s OBWG, France’s STET and Berlin Group. PelicanPay removes the complexity and the need to support multiple formats and standards – providing a seamless interoperable pan-European solution.

What is the difference between the PelicanPay services for Fintechs and TPPs?

All organisations using PelicanPay APIs benefit from the same API interoperability, providing unrivalled access to around 6,000 banks across the continent.

Many fintech organisations lack the required regulatory certifications to directly access and offer PSD2 Payment Initiation and Account Information services. By leveraging PelicanPay's regulatory certifications, fintechs are able to focus on delivering their core service proposition to customers, while the PelicanPay OpenBanking Hub takes care of all the technical and regulatory complexity of API connectivity to customers’ bank accounts throughout Europe.

What PSD2 services does PelicanPay provide to Banks?

A single API access as a TPP for Europe-wide connectivity supporting multiple API standards. Also for banks wishing to offer multiple API standards in different countries.

How can we start using PelicanPay?

The PelicanPay Open Banking platform has three focused API Hubs accessible to Fintechs, TPPs and Banks. These Hubs provide multiple Interoperable pan-European APIs focusing on Security & Authentication, Payment Initiation Services, and Account Information Services.
